Last night was the first new episode in months, titled “0.07%” and jumped right back into the action where the cliffhanger left off. Even though this is the show’s first season, Heroes has done a great job of balancing substance with pace, developing characters while still being action packed.
Lots of great stuff last night: Now we know Linderman has powers and gives us a glimpse by returning dead flowers to health, while we learn that Mrs. Petrelli has an ability, too, even if we don’t yet know what it is. And does Mr. Bennett have more power than he lets on when he contacts Parkman through his thoughts? And what’s crazy Nikki/Jessica going to do when she finds out Linderman used the illusionist Candice to get Micah?
But here’s my big puzzler from last night: Sylar “kills” Peter by telekinetically flinging shards of glass, but then Suresh knocks out Sylar and flees with Peter’s dead body? WTF? I know the writers have further use for Slyar’s character, but if I had just knocked out a crazed super-killer that had recently tried to kill me, I think I might have taken it upon myself to KILL SYLAR rather than run away with a presumably dead body. If Peter is alive, sure, help your friend. But seriously, Mohinder, take a quick second and bash his brains in.
I feel better now. At least until next week’s episode…

Abigail added these pithy words on Apr 27 07 at 3:32 amSeriously. Why do people never take an extra second to KILL the bad guy? Why Why Why. I thought Suresh had more brains than that, I’m disappointed in him.
